Holiday Spiced Nuts

Serves: 3½ cups.
- ¾ sugar
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 egg white, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¾ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ½ tsp ground cloves
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1½ cups whole almonds
- In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together.
- Spread evenly in a greased 15x10x1 inch baking pan.
- Bake for 45 minutes stirring every 15 minutes.
- Walnuts can be added or substituted for the pecans or almonds or add any other nuts of your choice.
