Serves: 3½ cups.
Ingredients
  • ¾ sugar
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 egg white, slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ tsp ground cloves
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1½ cups whole almonds
Instructions
Preheat oven to 200 F.
  1. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together.
  2. Spread evenly in a greased 15x10x1 inch baking pan.
  3. Bake for 45 minutes stirring every 15 minutes.
Variation
  1. Walnuts can be added or substituted for the pecans or almonds or add any other nuts of your choice.
